Austin Rattler MTB

April 13, 2019 | 33K or 100K | Reveille Peak Ranch

Saddle up for a Texas mountain biking favorite at the Austin Rattler MTB, produced by Youphoria Productions. Our 33K loop course offers plenty of fun in one lap alone, but those that ride 100K will have a chance to qualify for the Leadville Trail 100 MTB. Celebrate your finish in true Austin style with live music, BBQ and beer at the lakeside post-race party.

Ride our 33K loop at the impeccably maintained Reveille Peak Ranch, a 1,300-acre mecca of amazing trails, first-class facilities and outdoor adventure. The course features a mix of terrain that challenges riders while allowing for ease of passing and minimal choke points that can slow down lap times. Choose between a single 33K lap or the LT100-qualifier distance of 100K over 3 laps. We’ll stay on the main ranch road for the first 4 miles so riders can sort themselves out before hitting the trails. 100K riders, please note the second and third laps will deviate from this route. The course will be clearly marked to indicate the difference.

The singletrack sections are fast, fun and twisty with just the right amount of rocks and technical features to keep things interesting. Speedy fire roads meander through the ranch, but don't lose focus because there are a couple sections of rugged granite shelves to navigate. All riders will have access to a large, fully stocked Youphoria aid station at the start/finish area with ample access to gear, nutrition and additional support as needed.

LT100 MTB corral/start position
Austin Rattler could not only gain you entry into the LT100 MTB, but it could also boost your corral starting position! Rider starting positions are organized in color-coded corrals. These positions will be based on a finish time from the 2018 (year prior only) LT100 MTB race, a 2018 or 2019 qualifier event finish time, or if you hold a current USCI Pro Elite license. Please enter finish times or license numbers when prompted during the registration process. However, if you race a qualifier after previously gaining entry, you MUST email Quinn Cooper at qcooper@lt.life to inform her of your finish time so you will be placed accordingly.
